How do I book a service?
Choose the service in the app, describe the problem, add photos and confirm the job address. You pay a ₦3,000 inspection fee, and a nearby approved artisan accepts the job and comes to inspect.
How soon will an artisan arrive?
The app confirms when an artisan is assigned. Arrival times are estimates and depend on traffic, access and availability. Bluukit is not an emergency service.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes, from the app or by emailing info@bluukit.com. If you cancel before an artisan is assigned, your inspection fee is refunded. After an artisan is assigned, the inspection fee normally remains payable because they have committed to travel to you.
Can I change the job address?
Each booking keeps the address you confirmed when you booked. Changing a saved address in your profile does not change an existing booking.
Is it free to use Bluukit?
The app is free. You pay the ₦3,000 inspection fee when you book, and for a repair only after you approve its quote.
What does a booking cost?
The inspection is ₦3,000. After the inspection, the artisan sends a quote for labour and materials, plus a 5% Bluukit service charge (₦500 to ₦5,000), shown as its own line before you approve.
When do I pay?
You pay the inspection fee when you book, and the repair after you approve the quote. Your repair payment is held and released to the artisan only after you approve the finished work.
How do refunds work?
Approved refunds go back through the original payment method and you can follow their progress in the job. Payments are processed by Paystack.
How are artisans checked?
Every artisan completes Bluukit’s verification and is approved by Bluukit before they can take jobs. The checks are explained in the app.
What if I’m not satisfied with the work?
Check the work before you approve it. If something is wrong, report a problem from the job with details or photos, and the Bluukit team reviews it with you and the artisan.
How do I become a Bluukit artisan?
Download the app, choose Work with Bluukit, pick artisan and complete verification with your ID, trade details and bank account.
How do vendors work with Bluukit?
Vendors supply materials for repair jobs. You receive orders with the items and quantities, set your delivery fee, and are paid to your bank account.
How do I join as a vendor?
Download the app, choose Work with Bluukit, pick vendor and complete verification with your business details and bank account.
What is the Bluukit estate dashboard?
An online dashboard for facility managers to bill dues, send private reminders, record spending and track repairs for one or several properties.
How do I join the pilot?
Request an invite on the For facility managers page. The pilot is free and by invitation only at first.
When will the Bluukit app be available?
Bluukit is coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. Join the launch list and we’ll text you on launch day.
How do I delete my account?
You can ask to close your account from your profile in the app, or email info@bluukit.com.
How do I know the artisan at my door is from Bluukit?
The app shows who has been assigned to your job. Only share your arrival code once that person has reached your property.
How is my personal data protected?
We use your information to arrange and support your jobs, as explained in our privacy policy.
